Jacob Elliott

Jacob Elliott

Executive Director

Jacob joined the Brandon Wilde family in 2018, and has been a part of the Life Care Services® team since 2014. His main focus is maintaining a high level of resident satisfaction and team member engagement, while also ensuring the community continues its financial viability and operational efficiency. Jacob loves coming to Brandon Wilde every day because he has the unique opportunity to build genuine and lasting relationships with the residents he serves.

Judy Russell

Judy Russell

Director of Human Resources

Since joining Brandon Wilde in August 2018, Judy has been responsible for Brandon Wilde’s recruitment and retention efforts and helping expand Brandon Wilde’s corporate culture. She uses her 20+ years of human resources experience to create a diverse culture, provide employee recognition, acquire talent, and provide organizational and professional development to help Brandon Wilde grow and thrive.

Judy has a bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Columbia Southern University, and holds a Senior Professional in Human Resource (SPHR) certification from the HR Certificate Institute. She also has a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management.

Avery Villines

Avery Villines

Community Life Services Director

Avery has worked with seniors for over 25 years, including the last 13 years as the community life services director. From events, concerts, art and volunteerism to weekly transportation and salon, spa and massage, she and her team enjoy keeping residents fully engaged in all aspects of community life.

Avery has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre from Valdosta State University. She also has an extensive physical fitness background that includes personal training, water fitness and Masters Swimming coaching.

Chris Pierson

Chris Pierson

Director of Plant Operations

Chris oversees all aspects of Brandon Wilde’s operation including interior and exterior maintenance. He focuses on providing excellent hospitality and service to Brandon Wilde’s residents, families, staff and vendors. After working at Brandon Wilde for over 22 years, Chris considers everyone at the community to be a part of his family.

Jennie Phillips

Jennie Phillips

Clinical Liaison

Jennie is a licensed practical nurse with a bachelor’s degree in child and family development from Georgia Southern University, and has over over 11 years of experience in senior living. Jennie works closely with case managers to facilitate admissions, provide community outreach, and make sure people know about everything Brandon Wilde has to offer.

Amanda Celaya

Amanda Celaya

Administrator

Amanda began her career in senior living over 12 years ago. She began working for LCS® in 2016 and joined Brandon Wilde as the administrator in January 2019. Amanda’s role consists of supporting the health services team, and includes ensuring the residents receive exceptional care and support during their time in assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation.

Amber Cooper, RN, BSN

Amber Cooper, RN, BSN

Director of Nursing

Amber began her career in nursing over 20 years ago, and has served the long-term care community for the last 15 years. Amber has been a member of the Brandon Wilde team for over 9 years, and was named director of nursing in November 2018.

Stephen Pryor

Stephen Pryor

Director of Environmental Services

Stephen is a native of Augusta, GA, and attended Augusta State University and Troy State University. He joined Brandon Wilde in 2005. Stephen has experience in the textiles and manufacturing industries. He has also worked with national providers of health care in skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and other medical centers in Augusta and Fayetteville, GA, Raleigh-Durham, NC, Jackson, MS and Orlando, FL.

Lynn Powell

Lynn Powell

Director of Sales & Marketing

Lynn joined Brandon Wilde as the wellness coordinator in 2009. In 2011, Lynn brought her sincere understanding and belief in the benefits of the Life Plan Community lifestyle, as well as her experience in other senior living communities, to the Brandon Wilde marketing team. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism/public relations from the University of Georgia.

Chef Paul Vella

Chef Paul Vella

Director of Dining Services

Chef Paul is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC. He was a student teacher and fellow for the university, and received the French classical award in the culinary arts. He has owned his own restaurant and has worked in a variety of roles for Morrison Community Living. Before joining Brandon Wilde in 2017, he was a systems manager and a regional chef/director of dining services.

Cheryl Taylor

Cheryl Taylor

Director of Accounting

Cheryl graduated from Augusta College with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting. While still in college, Cheryl began working for Georgia Railroad Bank and Trust Company. After this company merged with First Union, Cheryl worked in their Atlanta and Charlotte offices, eventually becoming head of accounts payable. In 1992, she left First Union to become the assistant director of accounting at Brandon Wilde and was named director of accounting in 1994.

Susan McWhorter

Susan McWhorter

Nurse Navigator

Susan graduated from Ogeechee Technical College in 1999 and worked in several different areas of the medical field before starting at Brandon Wilde in 2012. Today Susan works as a nurse navigator with the residents in independent living, where she follows up with all health center discharges to ensure they have a smooth transition back home.
