Greg Byrge

Greg Byrge

Executive Director

Greg found his calling in the Senior Living Industry 29 years ago and since that time, he has passionately supported a wide variety of organizations committed to improving the lives of seniors. Originally from Southeastern Kentucky, Greg is excited to return to the South and join one of the most prestigious Senior Living providers in the country.

Whether it is getting out on the lake or working in the yard Greg loves spending time enjoying the outdoors. After 12 years in the Pacific Northwest, Greg spent a lot of time on the water cruising the Puget Sound on his vintage wooden boat. This time last year Greg discovered a new favorite hobby – spending time with his grandson, Kenny.

Administrator

As a seasoned leader in healthcare, Larry has worked for Brandon Wilde for the last four years, utilizing his operational expertise and knowledge of systems and compliance. Team development and leadership have been a great focus. As a strategic planner, he has helped develop quality-of-life programs focusing on resident outcomes and family satisfaction.

Most recently, he has been working on overall wellness for the residents in all areas of Brandon Wilde by implementing at-home care services.  Keeping residents healthy and living their best life is a focus of Brandon Wilde and a passion for Larry.

Avery Villines

Avery Villines

Senior Director of Community Life

Avery has worked with seniors for over 31 years, including the last 19 years as the Community Life Services Director. From events, concerts, art, and volunteerism to weekly transportation, concierge and salon, spa, and massage, she and her team enjoy keeping residents fully engaged in all aspects of community life.

Avery has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Valdosta State University. She also has an extensive physical fitness background that includes personal training, water fitness, and Master’s Swimming coaching. Community-minded, Avery was the first female president of the Rotary Club of Columbia County and an active member for over 28 years.

Cheryl Stevens

Marketing Director

Cheryl has had an interesting journey from a small town in Nebraska to Long Island, New York, where she met her husband Robert and purchased their first home. Her career took an exciting turn when she discovered her passion for the real estate and senior housing industry. This passion was ignited while working for a not-for-profit life plan community, where she found fulfillment in supporting an active and vibrant lifestyle for seniors and their families.

Throughout her career, Cheryl has held various positions, including Sales Counselor, VP of Sales and Marketing, and Director of Marketing for well-known companies such as Coldwell Banker Real Estate, Berkshire Hathaway, Greystone Senior Housing, and a large boutique life plan community in Virginia.

In addition to her professional life, Cheryl is a dedicated wife and mother of two daughters, Gabriella, and Danielle. She values family, enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach, and exploring all that Georgia has to offer, as she has been a resident of the state for the last five years. Cheryl’s journey showcases her commitment to both her career in senior housing and her personal life as a wife and mother.

Chris Pierson

Chris Pierson

Senior Director of Plant Operations

Chris oversees all aspects of Brandon Wilde’s operation including interior and exterior maintenance. He focuses on providing excellent hospitality and service to Brandon Wilde’s residents, families, staff and vendors. After working at Brandon Wilde for over 22 years, Chris considers everyone at the community to be a part of his family.

Todd Greimel

Todd Greimel

Director of Dining Services

Todd is a graduate of First Coast Technical College in St. Augustine, Florida, and has been to many continuing education courses at The Culinary Institute of America in California. He is also a certified teacher and proctor in the ServSafe program. Before joining Brandon Wilde, Todd worked in many different roles for Compass Group, including director of dining services, executive chef, regional trainer of hospitality, and service manager. Prior to joining Compass Group, he worked for Westin and Sheraton hotels as a regional traveling chef and executive chef. His other work experience includes private clubs and independent restaurants.

Jen Boyett

Jen Boyett

Director of Human Resources

Jen has been part of the Brandon Wilde family since 2019. She has a unique combination of both health care and hospitality human resources experience. Her main focus is doing all she can to better our team member experience, which will help Brandon Wilde continue to provide the highest level of service and hospitality to our residents.

Jen has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in psychology and managerial sciences from Georgia State University. Jen is also an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management and WorldatWork.

Brenda Brendel

Brenda Brendel

Executive Assistant

Brenda provides support to the Executive Director and the Brandon Wilde Leadership Team.  She prides herself on her exceptional communication skills, hospitality, and sunny disposition.  One of her great joys is working with the Brandon Wilde residents and team members.

Brenda joined Brandon Wilde in 2016 coming from the hospitality industry working for Augusta National Golf Club.  She has over 35 years of experience in senior executive support covering various industries including manufacturing, higher education, real estate, and hospitality.

Susan McWhorter

Susan McWhorter

Director of Personal Care

Susan graduated from Ogeechee Technical College in 1999 and worked in several different areas of the medical field before starting at Brandon Wilde in 2012. Today Susan works as a nurse navigator with the residents in independent living, where she follows up with all health center discharges to ensure they have a smooth transition back home.

Patricia A Daniels

Director of Environmental Services

Patricia joined Brandon Wilde 3 years ago. She comes with 20-plus years of experience in Environmental Services. She has a Business Administration degree from Global University.  Patricia’s favorite saying is, “It’s nice to be important, but more important to be nice.”

Andrea Walls

Andrea Walls

Director of Accounting

Andrea leads the Accounting Team providing outstanding service to Brandon Wilde residents and the Leadership Team. Her door is always open to offer assistance or answer questions.

Andrea graduated from Brenau University with an MBA in Leadership Development and an MBA in Accounting Certificate. She became part of the Brandon Wilde family in 2003 and throughout her career has held positions as a Financial Assistant, Billing/IT Manager, and Accounting Manager. Her strong work ethic and exceptional talents led her to receive a promotion to Director of Accounting in 2023.
