Hurricane Debby Update 8/6/24

Brandon Wilde Notice: Monitoring Hurricane Debby

For the safety of our residents, employees, and community, Brandon Wilde is closely monitoring Hurricane Debby. As of August 6, 2024, we have taken measures to assess the property and roadways, mitigate flooding, and remove tree limbs that could impact power lines.

We encourage residents and employees to stay alert to road closures, drive safely, and avoid driving through flooded roadways during this storm. Debby is currently a minimal tropical storm with maximum winds of 45 mph. The broad center is located approximately 20 miles southwest of Savannah, GA, and is moving slowly northeast at 6 mph. It is expected to drift just off the Georgia/South Carolina coast over the next 24-36 hours, with some potential for re-intensification once back over water.

The potential for additional significant rain and/or wind threats or impacts to north and central Georgia, including our far southeast counties, continues to diminish. We will provide further updates, as necessary.
