Ping Pong Tournament at Brandon Wilde

Brandon Wilde in the News! Ping Pong Tournament Extravaganza!

Residents from Brandon Wilde think of creative ways to raise money for local organizations every year. Reporter Sydney Hood from WRDW visited this past Friday as our community gathered for a charity ping pong tournament. The event culminated in a final EPIC battle between resident and ping pong prodigy Dick Reynolds vs. Executive Director Jacob Elliot. Donations were taken at the match’s start and were awarded to the winner’s selected charity. Reynolds played for the CSRA Parkinson’s Support Group and Elliot played for The Alzheimer’s Association.

We crowned Dick Reynolds as the victor after winning 3 of 5 games. His skills earned the CSRA Parkinson’s Support Group $500!

Throughout the year, Brandon Wilde residents raise thousands of dollars for these charities through community events like the ping pong tournament or larger-scale fundraisers. Brandon Wilde is deeply connected to the missions of the CSRA Parkinson’s Support Group and The Alzheimer’s Association, and we love to show our support whenever we can!
