University Health Care System approves $3.5 million dollars for Brandon Wilde upgrades
At the University Health Care System Board meeting on June 25th, the System Board approved $3.5 million dollars in upgrades to Brandon Wilde's facilities. This is the first phase of a two part upgrade. This phase includes a new beauty salon/ spa and arts/crafts area, a new maintenance building for Plant Operations, and refurbishment of the Pavilion (the skilled nursing facility). This will be the first major refurbishment of the Pavilion in Brandon Wilde's 25-year history. Heavener and Associates Construction Company has been awarded the contract for this work with Noelker and Hull architects providing the design. The second phase of the project will include construction of a casual dining venue.
